2009: Missionaries of Charity
Balvihar students served at this homeless shelter on Dec. 12th. They helped children with arts and crafts, activities, games, gift shop volunteering, serving lunch and at the end cleaning up the whole place.
2009: Clothing Drive
Balvihar students and families participated in this yearly event. It was a success again.
2009: Harvey Kornblum Food Pantry - Canned Food Drive

2009: Faith Beyond Wall Ushers
Balvihar youth group Y4 students volunteered to be Ushers at the FBW annual dinner. It was a crowded event with more than 400 attendees from all faiths.
2009: Mahakumbhabhishekam Volunteering
Balvihar Youth group and parents volunteered at this auspicious occasion. The event was a big success and provided a great "once in a life time" experience to volunteer for many.
2009: Blood and Bone Marrow Drive
Balvihar Youth Group volunteered for this Blood and Bone Marrow Drive at the MGC. Drs. Ghosh and GV Naidu(Balvihar Advisory Board Members)supervised this project
2009: SLICE program (Faith Beyond Walls)
St. Louis Interfaith Community Explorations (SLICE) was an InterfaithPartnership/Faith Beyond Walls summer program designed to provide a service experience. Our students served for two weeks in the downtown and in the city of Kinlock (see pics)
2007: Clothes Drive - Missouri Council for the Blind
Thanks to all the parents and kids who contributed to this effort. This year's recipients are Annie Malone Children & Family Service Center and Missouri Council of the Blind.
2002: Can Drive - Joint Neighborhood Ministries
A total of 278 cans were collected and was distribited to: Joint Neighborhood Ministries - Organisation that provides food and services to low-income families in the Benton park Neighborhood in South St Louis.
